NEW YORK — Jeffrey Nugent, president and chief executive officer of Revlon, was the keynote speaker at the Cosmetic Executive Women’s news forum Wednesday night. Nugent discussed a variety of Revlon issues and took questions from the audience, which included approximately 400 attendees.
Nugent alluded to a new initiative that would “help Revlon form a stronger bond with trade partners” and he also said Revlon would not pay off its debt for “a very long time,” but rather the company would focus on bringing debt down “to more reasonable levels.” When questioned about his relationship with Revlon’s chairman, Ronald O. Perelman, he responded that they have a “true partnership,” and that Perelman “is a pleasure to work with.”
