Everyone knows that the Angels care as much about their clothes as they do about fighting crime. But what do you do if you’re Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu and you’ve got two premieres in two cities in two nights? The answer: dress up for L.A., then relax in New York — just the opposite of the way it’s usually done. Maybe the girls were too exhausted to pull out all the stops by the time they’d come East. Diaz titillated the L.A. crowd in fishnets and a Costume National jumpsuit but opted for faded denim at the “Charlie’s Angels” party Tuesday night at Henri Bendel on Fifth Avenue. “I kinda don’t want to get dressed anymore at all,” she sighed. Liu traded in her plunging Versace for the protection of a wintry orange Dolce & Gabbana maxicoat. Barrymore, by the time she’d hit New York, was more hippie chick than Seventies sexpot. “But I’ve gotten more in touch with my sexuality since doing the film,” she admitted.
