NEW YORK — Slim silhouettes may have ruled the bridal runways for the past two years, but they aren’t the only game in town. Designers have also acquired a new appreciation for full-skirted shapes, which they’re expressing in slightly sexier looks in unexpected combinations of fabric with fresh details. Bodices are tight and narrow, often with spaghetti straps or dropped waists, while skirts come in such materials as tulle paired with lace. Imaginative combinations of pleating, draping and tucking enliven many of the gowns, too.
