Welcome back, Marisa! After a four-year hiatus from the awards circuit, Marisa Tomei, thanks to her role as Natalie Strout in “In the Bedroom,” is back, along with her quirky, fashion-forward presence. At Friday’s Critic’s Choice Awards, Tomei admitted that the Clements Ribeiro dress she was wearing caught her eye while browsing through Style.com. She called the designer and picked it up on her way to the airport. Her alternate outfit, a cream-colored Marc Jacobs top and Carolina Herrera pants, was put to good use on Sunday when she presented at the People’s Choice Awards. Back in New York on Monday, she donned Zac Posen (“just a kid I like”) for a special screening of “In the Bedroom.” But her plans for the Golden Globes on Sunday remain a mystery. “I’ve seen a couple of things I liked but everything is taken!” lamented Tomei. “I didn’t realize it was such a jockeying thing.” To that end, she’s enlisting stylist Jessica Paster for the first time. “Since I started so late,” Tomei said, “I need her in my corner.”
