“This is a positive move to strengthen the Clarins Fragrance Group and prepare a platform for new opportunities and organic growth, as well as many new initiatives for Thierry Mugler and Azzaro,” noted Brad Horowitz, senior vice president of marketing for the Clarins Fragrance Group. “What we are going to do is take Thierry Mugler, which will give a top 10 women’s fragrance with Angel and a top 10 men’s in Chrome, as a platform to seek out new opportunities.” This move is intended to support the company’s long-term commitment to its fragrance presence in the U.S., as well as to strengthen the Clarins Fragrance Group as a U.S. entity.
