Comstock & Co. by Robert Comstock, a men’s sportswear collection from the veteran men’s designer, is making its debut at Bloomingdale’s for fall. 

The store will host an event at its flagship today to showcase the brand’s new in-store shop that was designed by Comstock and is exclusive to Bloomingdale’s. The fixtures are mahogany and steel and the shop features an eight-foot bronze sculpture of a falcon in the gallerylike setting along with oversize photos of Mongolia and other exotic locales framed in driftwood. Ten percent of the sale proceeds  from the event will be donated to the Peregrine Fund and customers can enter to win a trip to Mongolia hosted by Comstock.

“Bloomingdale’s 59th Street flagship in New York is the quintessential venue for an authentic American sportswear brand. I am honored to launch Comstock & Co. there and [pleased] to be able to showcase how my worldwide conservation efforts and adventure inspired the collection,” the designer said.

Comstock & Co. will also be carried at Bloomingdale’s in Atlanta, Chestnut Hills, Mass., Riverside, N.J., San Francisco and Sherman Oaks, Calif.

Comstock started his business in his parents’ garage in Boise, Idaho, in the mid-Seventies and has designed mainly outdoors-inpsired, socially conscious apparel for men.
