L’Oréal’s second-quarter sales were up 6.1 percent. That figure was inaccurately reported in an article on July 9. In addition, North American sales totalled $2.23 billion for the half, or 1.82 billion euros. In euros, that result was down 2.7 percent from the previous year. But in dollars, the total represented a 6.2 percent gain. The dollar increase was not included in the article.
