NEW YORK — Last week’s fur presentations, organized by the Fur Information Council of America, were a mixed bag. Still, there was plenty to attract the younger woman. The best looks were sporty and fun, such as Cassin’s collection of ponchos and vests. Elaborate embroidery — one of the week’s biggest trends — looked good in the form of Zuki’s fox jackets detailed with rivets, mink and crystals. Tendler showed a charming sheared mink dress trimmed in point d’esprit, while Jerry Sorbara went for the vintage look with cropped lippe cat jackets. Jekel of Paris, for its part, featured some great suede jackets, trimmed in ribbon and crochet.
