WHAT THE BECK: Once closely associated with electronic music, Hedi Slimane is definitely in a rock state of mind these days. To wit: Beck, whom Slimane photographed in his latest photo book, “Stage,” was commissioned to compose original music for his Dior Homme fashion show Monday at the end of the Paris men’s shows. Heck, there will even be some vocals. Beck is said to have recorded the 20-minute piece in the midst of making his latest album, due out later this fall.

IT’S ALL GREEK TO ME: This time of year, most people flee to the Greek Isles for some sun and fun, but Tara Subkoff of Imitation of Christ will mix in some work while she’s on the island of Hydra. The designer will show her collection during the Greek art exhibition, “PREMAculTURE,” which opens Saturday at Hydra High School. Subkoff also will show off a video analyzing conceptual contradictions. The concept of “art as ejaculation” is presented through the work of Vic Muniz, Sooja Kim and Jessica Craig-Martin, among other artists. If all this sounds a little heavy, count on Dr. Ruth Westheimer to lighten things up. She wrote the forward for the exhibition’s catalogue, which is printed on the traditional blue exercise book used by students in Greece.

IT TAKES TWO: After exchanging her wedding vows this weekend, Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Veronika Varekova plans to pull a J.Lo by losing her bridal gown for a cocktail dress to dance the night away. Carmen Marc Valvo has designed a Grecian-inspired ivory pleated silk chiffon number for the bride-to-be to wear at the reception.
