PARIS — On Wednesday, Helmut Lang showed a surprisingly sunny and crisp spring collection, which, remarkably, included looks that would be right at home in Nantucket’s preppy environs. There were pinstriped pants with white bands at the hem, cotton sheath dresses, smartly tailored jackets and goddess numbers, with knotted details and pearl halters.
