Meadham Kirchhoff has teamed up once again with Topshop and created a capsule collection set to launch on November 21 in London.

“Meadham Kirchhoff have been showing collections in London for around 8 years, they are an incredible talent, original and inspiring,” said Kate Phelan, Topshop creative director. “Combining great narratives with strong  characters, their clothes are delicate and romantic with a perverse twist that keep the collections modern and innovative.”

This is the fourth time that the high street label has collaborated with the British design duo and the “Cherrys” collection was inspired by their vision of a punk rock band. “This collection for Topshop was inspired by the idea of a band or a gang which we named ‘The Cherrys,'” said Edward Meadham and Benjamin Kirchhoff in a statement.”The overall aesthetic was influenced by Marilyn Manson and the Spooky Kids, Kembra Pfahler and glam rock. It is an enormous and all encompassing collection which will offer a myriad of choice for any customer to adapt or reject as they see fit.”

The one-off collection will feature 89 pieces, which is Topshop’s largest designer collaboration to date. The line will feature a range of dresses, separates, jackets including bold printed jackets, dresses in whimsical prints, and graphic shirts. The collection will also feature accessories, footwear and jewelry including 70s style platform boots with cartoon faces, star pendant necklaces and pink studded chokers.

“The Cherrys is a girl group made up of 4 characters each have a different personality and look,” noted Phelan. “Their clothes describe their characters. The highlights for me are the dresses, the blouses, the prints, and of course the patchwork leather jacket and the shoes are amazing. You can wear the whole look or take your favorite pieces and mix it up.”

The collection launches in stores internationally on November 21, with prices ranging from 4 pounds or $6.43 for socks, to 750 pounds or $1,205 for a Mongolian jacket.
