NEW YORK — Services for George Greenspan, a long-time textile executive, were held Thursday at Pleasantville, N.Y.

Greenspan, 93, died April 20 of leukemia at his home here.

He spent most of his career at Cantor-Greenspan, a converter here started by his two brothers, Saul and the late Albert Greenspan.

George Greenspan eventually became treasurer and president of the company, which was sold to J.P. Stevens in 1962. In 1965, Greenspan retired, serving as a consultant to the company for several years.

Also surviving are his wife, Corrine Lappert Greenspan, and a son, Andrew.
