Georgina Brandolini: Having spent 20 years at Valentino’s side, Georgina Brandolini certainly picked up a thing or two about dressing with polish. Some came decadently, if delicately, trimmed in tiny chunks of coral. Others slid off the shoulder just so, while the best worked a little trompe-l’oeil magic. Brandolini’s “sweater-shirt” was spliced together from a filmy, luxe knit top and the collar of a prettily ruffled tuxedo shirt, while the “cardigan blouse” combined the collar and cuffs of a fine embroidered blouse with a lightweight cardigan.
