NEW YORK — The Gilmar Group, parent of the Iceberg and Gerani labels, made some key executive appointments to its Gilmar USA subsidiary.

Manilo Cocchini, managing director of the Gilmar Group, has also taken on the role of president of Gilmar USA, while Massimo Marani, Gilmar Group’s chief financial officer, is now also Gilmar USA’s vice president of finance. Both are new posts, and Cocchini and Marani will continue to be based in Milan.

In addition, the company tapped Angela Casiero as vice president of sales and marketing at the U.S. subsidiary, a new post. She joined from Emanuel Ungaro, where she was vice president of sales and marketing for four years. Before that, she worked at Alberta Ferretti. At Gilmar, Casiero is charged with repositioning Iceberg and its several brands, including the licensed Frankie Morello and Giambattista Valli collections. The collections will be sold under one roof at Gilmar’s headquarters at 57 East 64th Street, where Casiero will be based.

In addition, Iceberg inked a licensing deal with Le Coq Sportif to launch a cobranded footwear collection for its Ice J Iceberg division. The shoes are expected to bow at stores next spring.
