In a cheeky move, Hannes Kettritz sent out a well-mannered black rain coat whose clear plastic back exposed a model wearing nothing more than his tattoo. Not that the Berlin men’s wear designer, now in his second season, had only jokes up his sleeve. The coat, for one, would function perfectly well over clothes, and his designs are essentially of the pared down, minimalist school. He used geometric cuts for his T-shirt top in woven silk or nubby jersey, and gave a square, gray suede jacket a notched front. Otherwise, Kettritz tends to let fabric and color do the talking, and styled his tanks, gym shorts, and woven jogging pants in shimmering silk in aquatic colors.
