PARIS — In an ultraluxe teaser to the fall couture, Karl Lagerfeld served up a sublime pre-fall collection for Chanel at the house’s Rue Cambon salons. Dubbed “Chanel Five to Seven,” the feminine, chic line focused on late-day, cocktail and evening looks, from sweeping tweed cardigans and little black satin numbers to slim skirts and dresses that recalled the Twenties.
