Holy Ghost hails from traditionally conservative Munich, but the label’s refreshing take on women’s staples is anything but staid. Jelena Hofmann and Sedina Halilovic also gave local designers a run for their money in the “edgy” stakes by hosting their show in an abandoned East Berlin supermarket. Filling the aisles was slick daywear such as high-waisted dove gray leather pants with a tucked-in white jersey blouse topped off by a baby pink lapel-less coat. The theme of “Smoke on the Water” played out in petrol-colored leathers and a sultry aqueous print on a silk jumpsuit, loosely cut pants and a long, billowing skirt.
