TRADING PLACES: Revillon, the Paris fur brand designed by Los Angeles transplant Rick Owens, is ditching its boutique on the upscale Avenue Montaigne. Chloé plans to take over the choice corner unit, just down the street from Christian Dior and Chanel, this fall. The store will be the Richemont-owned brand’s second location in the City of Light. A spokeswoman for Revillon said the furrier was hunting for other sites in the vicinity of the Rue Cambon or the Palais Royal. She said such a location would resonate better with the image Owens has been trying to give the brand.

JUICY PICKS PINTO: Jennifer Pinto will join Juicy Couture as director of communications on May 31. Pinto was previously at Calvin Klein Inc., where she served as director of public relations for women’s wear. Earlier, she held p.r. posts at Gucci, Prada and Donna Karan. She will be based in New York and will report to Michelle Sanders, vice president and fashion director.

FASHION FORWARD: Fashion Cents Acquisition plans to buy Norstan Apparel Shops Inc. for $14 million in cash, plus the assumption of more than $12 million of operating lease liabilities. Norstan, which filed for Chapter 11 on April 8 in a Brooklyn bankruptcy court, operates 230 stores under the Fashion Cents nameplate in the South, Midwest and mid-Atlantic regions. The women’s apparel retailer targets low- and middle-income consumers. Abacus Advisors advised Norstan in the sales process. The transaction is subject to the approval of the bankruptcy court and Norstan’s creditors.
