A GOOD FIT: French bra specialist Chantelle will host a luncheon March 7 at the W New York hotel at 541 Lexington Avenue to launch a charitable partnership with Dress for Success, an organization that provides apparel and career development services to women who are economically challenged.

Chantelle, which has been a sponsor since 2003, plans to expand its involvement this year by conducting 150 bra-fit events with its consultants at major stores, including Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale’s and Nordstrom, said a Chantelle spokeswoman. Chantelle will also donate $2 for every bra in selected styles sold from March 1 to May 31 and will pledge a minimum donation of $100,000 and up to 5,000 bras to Dress for Success and its 73 affiliates, said the spokeswoman. The four styles are Alhambra, a functional, sleek T-shirt bra; Essensia, a streamlined number with molded contour cups; Volupte, a minimizer, and Tamaris, a seamless molded lace bra.

An online Dress for Success sweepstakes will be featured on the chantelle.com Web site. For every 1,000 entries during the promotional period, Chantelle will donate an additional 50 bras to the organization.
