PARIS — Can lightning strike twice in the same place? It did in the City of Light on Thursday as John Galliano showed a beautiful cross-cultural fall collection for Christian Dior that continued the globe-trotting themes of his inventive spring couture collection. He took the audience on a pleasure trip through Mongolian, Russian and Eskimo territories, showing everything from military jackets to flounced, patterned dresses with fanny wraps.
