Katharine Kidd took her floral prints into dark and dramatic territory with a black magnolia print on a muddy green background and an aurora borealis motif in dark oranges and greens. She continued to work her favorite fit-and-flare silhouette, this time in edgier-than-usual fabrics. A black woven fabric with a leather effect, for instance, added a new dimension to a peplum dress.
