NEW YORK — James Mogan has been appointed president of the Intimate Apparel Division at Kellwood Co., succeeding Charles Rumbley, who left to pursue other opportunities, according to a spokeswoman.

He will report to Bob Skinner, chairman of Kellwood’s Intimate Apparel and Men’s Wear Divisions. A veteran of the intimate apparel industry for over 30 years, Mogan most recently served as president of the Intimate Apparel Division of The Warnaco Group. Earlier, Mogan was president of Maidenform Worldwide.

Skinner said Mogan will “lead our team in developing strategic product and marketing initiatives,” and “will enhance our ability to open more doors and develop new merchandising programs with the key players.”

In a related move, Melissa Dietiker has been named vice president of sales and marketing for the daywear and panties unit. Dietiker, who has worked in the innerwear industry for nearly a decade, has a strong background in sales, merchandising and product development.

She succeeds Linda Wasserman, former vice president of Kellwood Intimate Apparel, who retired in January. Dietiker will report to Mogan.
