NEW YORK — Kmart has dropped its “Right here. Right now.” slogan and is expected to unveil its new red “K” logo in Sunday’s circulars.
The company has not selected a new slogan yet, and the new logo reportedly will feature a large red block “K” with Kmart underneath it in smaller block letters.
The previous logo, which the discounter has used since 1994, featured a large red “K” with “mart” in white script letters. That logo will remain on store signs for now, while the new logo will begin appearing in ads and in-store promotions.
