PARIS — Lace was a big trend at last month’s PV. And while in the past, more decorated, beaded and embroidered looks were key, next spring is all about being discreet. Chantilly laces, many of them paper thin, were everywhere, even at traditionally non-lace mills. Reggiani, for instance, an Italian mill specializing in stretch wovens, introduced a stretch lace in their new collection. On the other side of the spectrum, exhibitors featured a variety of cotton blended laces, stitched into thicker patterns. Here, some of the best of both from the fair.
