Elisabeth Schwaiger seemed to be channeling caftan days and macramé nights. Her Laurèl collection, which this season she named “Bohemian Summer,” ranged from an acid-yellow bonded lace jumpsuit to an Abba-worthy white bedazzled evening gown with cutouts for a feel that was often more casino than cabana. Vibrant silk pantsuits and dresses had deep necklines — the better to show off strappy bikini tops underneath. Fringe came on everything from capes to tunics to sandals, and tie-dye and bird of paradise prints were also key elements. However, the standout looks here were the crochet dresses with gossamer inserts.
