NEW YORK — Levi’s is returning to the Superbowl advertising blitz this year, but the company hasn’t yet determined what ad it will air.

Instead, as of today, the San Francisco-based company is giving Web surfers the chance to pick which one of three 30-second spots will be shown during the second quarter of the NFL championship game.

The first ad, “Crazy Legs,” features a man doing the “low-rider” dance — which most resembles what might have happened if Groucho Marx joined John Cleese in Monty Python’s “Ministry of Silly Walks” sketch. The new “Flyweight” style for men is featured in the spot.

The second candidate, “Up & Down,” shows women in a dressing room trying on a pair of the brand’s Superlow stretch jeans.

The third contender is “Bull,” which premiered in October and shows a youth’s ill-advised attempt to ride a mechanical bull. He wears Boot Fit jeans.

All three ads were produced by TBWA/Chiat/Day. Voting at the Web site, levis.yahoo.com, will continue until 3 p.m. EDT on Jan. 27. The game is set for Feb. 3.
