PARIS — Marc Jacobs International is changing partners for its children’s wear line.
Paris-based Children Worldwide Fashion Group, or C.W.F., said it would produce and distribute the Little Marc Jacobs collection for girls and boys starting with the fall-winter 2012 season. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
C.W.F. markets luxury children’s wear under license for a range of mostly European labels: Burberry, Chloé, Boss Kidswear, Marithé + Francois Girbaud, Elle, DKNY and Timberland.
Jacobs first introduced a capsule line for tots in 2005, expanding the collection and the business a year later by inking a licensing deal with France’s Zannier Group. It is understood that pact is expiring.
C.W.F. noted it would distribute Jacobs children’s wear in select multi-brand retailers, department stores, certain Jacobs boutiques and its Atelier de Courcelles chain.
