Plunging necklines were a major trend on the red carpet at the MTV Europe Music Awards, held Sunday night in Milan.
Among the celebrities embracing the look, Ellie Goulding wore an ALX sexy, Old Hollywood-inspired fitted black dress, Jess Glynne sported a Tom Ford graphic gown in a bright orange tone, Shay Mitchel opted for a white Kayat long frock, while Anna dello Russo chose an embroidered Roberto Cavalli top matched with Balmain x H&M pants. A feminine neckline added a sensual touch to the Giorgio Armani Privé Dandy-like outfit of the event’s co-host, Ruby Rose.
Metallic effects also took center stage on the red carpet, with Charli XCX in a Vivienne Westwood silver leather fitted dress and model Bianca Balti, who showed off her post-baby body, sporting a pair of Dolce & Gabbana shorts and a coordinatng jacket crafted from rich gold brocade.
Men mainly opted for tuxedos, including Mark Ronson, who walked the red carpet with his wife Joséphine de La Baume in a shiny black style, while presenter Ed Sheeran went for an Emporio Armani three-piece suit. Then there was Justin Bieber, in total red, who paired denim pants (Calvin Klein, perhaps, since he appears in its ads?) with a T-shirt and a hooded sweatshirt. Pharrell Williams also kept it casual with jeans and a double-breasted topcoat with a maritime feel.
