NEW YORK — Nike has named Trevor Edwards, a 10-year veteran with the firm, to the new post of corporate vice president of global brand management.
He will oversee the global functions of brand design, brand communications and the advanced concepts team. Edwards now reports to Mark Parker, president of the Nike brand.
Edwards’ former post, vice president of U.S. brand management, has been filled by Joaquin Hidalgo, who previously was global brand director of football, the word the company uses for soccer. Hidalgo, who has been at the company for 12 years, reports to Gary DeStefano, president of Nike U.S. operations.
