NEW YORK — Memorial services for Evelyn Kligler, technical director of Boom Club Inc., were held at Riverside Memorial Chapel here on June 19.

Kligler died at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center here on June 4 of a burst aorta. She was 70.

A native of Vienna, Kligler was schooled in England as part of the KinderTransport program and received her technical education in Basel, Switzerland. She came to the United States in the Sixties and worked for companies including Ship ‘n Shore, Ellen Tracy, Charlotte Ford and Barneys New York. She also served as vice president of production and quality control at WilliWear.

She had worked at Boom Club, a private label manufacturer, for more than 17 years. There were no immediate survivors.
