PARIS — The collection Karl Lagerfeld showed for Chanel on Friday featured an imitation of a red-carpet Hollywood event, complete with black-and-white-clad photographers who mobbed new Chanel No.5 pitchwoman Nicole Kidman. But it was also full of wonderful clothes and great ideas. There were, for example, a variety of the house’s iconic jackets, flowered silk dresses and beautiful black and white evening looks.
