For her second clothes collection, titled “Drowning,” Berlin milliner-turned-fashion designer Rike Feurstein proved she’s not afraid to make waves. She cut latex into boxy sheaths, flowing trousers and draped jumpsuits for women, as well as loose shorts, a weighty jacket and T-shirt for men.
Feurstein also employed hatlike forms and hat-shaping techniques to turn straw into folds and curves, creating sheer and mesh formed jackets, sculptural skirts and even tapered men’s trousers.
