The Rhode Island School of Design held its annual graduate runway show, dubbed Collection 2015, in two installments on May 8 at the Providence Performing Arts Center. More than 60 apparel design majors — and 18 seniors — showcased looks from their collections, this year judged by designers Derek Lam and Simon Spurr as well as Anne Slowey, fashion news director of Elle, and Neil Gilks, senior project manager at the Council of Fashion Designers of America. Junior and sophomore students also showed off their various design projects, from knits and tailored outerwear to sustainable looks from a project called the Re-Innovatives Challenge.
