The Canadian company has already amassed a collection of fashion-related licenses with Alfred Sung, Bob Mackie, Adrienne Vittadini, Lulu Guinness and Nanette Lepore.

Adrian Ellis, president, Riviera Concepts Inc, said in a statement, “Riviera Concepts Inc. is pleased to be working with such a national and internationally recognized name in the fashion industry. Cynthia Rowley’s girlie yet sophisticated approach to design, applicable in the fashion, accessories and publishing arenas, will add a fresh approach toward developing her new fragrance.”

A spokeswoman for the company added that the launch date of Rowley’s first fragrance has not been chosen.

Rowley has been honored by the Council of Fashion Designers of America by being granted the new fashion talent award and being nominated for the Perry Ellis award for new men’s wear design talent.

Over the years, Rowley’s business has grown to include men’s wear, shoes, handbags and small leather goods, watches, eyewear, table wear, hosiery, gloves, umbrellas and cosmetics.

“I am very excited to work with Riviera Concepts in developing my signature fragrance,” said Rowley. “Their understanding of the prestige fragrance market and designer brands makes them the perfect partner.”
