Meanwhile, in Partyland, the scene was relatively tame, with just a few random bursts of energy, echoing the mood at the Smashbox tents. Jenni Kayne kicked off fashion week last Friday with a dinner at her boyfriend Richard Ehrlich’s house in Coldwater Canyon, named Casita Luce, drawing her pals Mary Kate Olsen, Vanessa Traina and Anna and Rosetta Getty. Anthony Kiedis was also expected, but the wayward rocker was spotted downtown admiring models at the Gen Art show. On Wednesday, Charlotte Ronson presented her “Hansel and Gretel”-inspired collection in the colonnaded bar of the Roosevelt Hotel, with her sister Samantha spinning tunes for Nicole Richie, Bijou Phillips and Kidada Jones, who also celebrated her 32nd birthday that night with a chocolate cake from Ronson. For those wanting to mellow out the next night, Linda Loudermilk unveiled her line of environmentally sustainable jeans before a poolside candlelit dinner at her Hollywood Hills villa attended by eco-minded influencers Hill Harper, Donovan Leitch and Kirsty Hume. But Nicky Hilton corralled those who still couldn’t get enough of the Roosevelt scene, hosting her own party there beginning at 11 p.m.
