NEW YORK — After introducing a line of T-shirts last spring, the Los Angeles-based Seven For All Mankind is launching a line of cashmere sweaters to go with its fall collection.
The line includes four groups, ranging from bright green sweaters for shoppers who want to stand out to a simple gray camisole. There’s a tissue cashmere group that features thin, knit sweaters with contrast stitching that fit like T-shirts, a mesh cashmere group that includes sweaters woven with Lycra spandex for a snug fit, a skinny-rib cashmere group that offers a contoured fit and is available in crewneck and V-neck designs and a striped cashmere collection made in bright colors and neutral stripes with matching cashmere tanks.
The line, which hits stores for fall, wholesales from $71 for a camisole to $111 for a sweater from the mesh cashmere group. Company executives declined to comment on sales projections. Seven For All Mankind is projected to have sales of about $100 million this year.
