The dollars and sense behind young stars’ latest buys.

Marsha Thomason, 29, Nessa on “Las Vegas”:“The last thing I bought was a pair of red glitter ballet pumps — very Dorothy — for $200.”

Mandy Moore, 20: “I got the coolest vintage Pauline Trigere lime-green coat and giraffe-print dress from The Way We Wore. I spent a couple hundred dollars, but it’s an investment because it’s something you want to collect and not necessarily wear all the time.”

Eva Mendes, 30, Star of “Hitch”:“I bought two frogs for my 10-year-old nephew, Ryan. They were actually sort of expensive — $20 apiece.”

Chloe Sevigny, 30:“I went to that vintage store Cherry, and they were having a big sale. I bought three bags of clothes for $600. I got a ton of YSL jackets and a paisley skirt from the Seventies.”

Navi Rawat, 24, Amita on “Numb3rs”: “My last significant purchase would have been a Petro Zillia coat for about $700. I’m not too
concerned about it becoming outdated since the jacket is more modern than trendy.”

Lake Bell, 25, Sally on “Boston Legal”: “A Stella McCartney pair of black patent leather pumps in the $200 to $300 range. They were sexy because they looked a little bit S&M. I was taught by Alicia Silverstone that Stella McCartney does vegan shoes. I’m not a vegan, but they’re hot shoes nonetheless.”

Hayden Panettiere, 15, Star of “Racing Stripes”: “I bought a bottle of Burberry perfume for $60 and Bad Girl mascara for $18.”
