Next month, the creator of Sonia Kashuk Professional Makeup will make appearances in bookstores in five cities to promote her book “Real Beauty,” which made its debut this month. The book uses celebrities and beauty industry insiders as models to demonstrate makeup applications and techniques. Debra Winger, Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington and her two sisters, Tara Lipinski and beauty editors from Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and O, The Oprah Magazine, are among the numerous women who show off results of their face time with Kashuk.
Written with author Amy Valentine, the book also contains thoughts from experts on skin care, foot and hand care and life issues like the importance of finding balance.
Kashuk kicks off the tour at Brentano’s at the Beverly Center in Los Angeles on April 3, followed by stops in Dallas, Chicago and Miami, ending at Barnes & Noble on East 54th Street in Manhattan on April 25. Before setting out, she meets with Target employees in Minneapolis on March 27. The book is available at Target and chain bookstores nationwide.
Target is the exclusive retailer of Kashuk’s beauty products, which include color cosmetics, fragrance, facial skin care, body care and cosmetics bags.
