LOS ANGELES — Private label denim producer Tarrant Apparel Group continues to shuffle top management as it contends with a difficult retail environment.

The company said Monday that it has replaced chief financial officer Scott Briskie with company treasurer Patrick Chow. Chow also will assume Briskie’s seat on the board of directors.

The move follows the October promotion of Eddie Yuen to chief executive officer.

Briskie was credited with overseeing the company’s integration of its vertical operation in Mexico.

Chairman and founder Gerard Guez and Yuen were out of the country and could not be reached for comment.
