NEW YORK — ’Tis the season to get in touch. At both the European Preview and I-Tex Style shows last week, texture was the top trend for fall 2003. There were chunky, rustic tweeds; pucker or plissé effects on blends, and delicate jacquard knits. As for color, the season will be a mixed bag of earthy neutrals and poppy brights, as well as more metallics.
