PRETTY PARTY: Diane von Furstenberg infused the atrium of Henri Bendel with a bit of disco Tuesday night — complete with smoke machine, dimmed red lighting and a floor packed shoulder-to-shoulder — in celebration of the official launch of her beauty collection. Helping to make merry were Calvin Klein, Bianca Jagger, Pat Cleveland and Rick and Kathy Hilton. Bendel’s held a soft launch for the cosmetics and fragrance collection in August.
SCENT SOIREE: Symrise feted Fabrizio Ferri and a recently launched ad campaign he shot for the fragrance supplier during a party held at Industria in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District Tuesday night. Ferri said the event, which featured 12 photographs, including new and archival works, was his first exhibition — outside the world of fashion magazines, that is. Symrise created a finished fragrance inspired by each photo and displayed them as well. The scents and shots were matched by Symrise’s Maurice Roucel, who also created a fragrance called “7th” to recognize 7th on Sixth’s 10-year anniversary.
