Once the Governator Arnold Schwarzenegger gave his final blessing, stars attending the Golden Globes were finally free to kick up their heels and hit the post-party circuit at the Beverly Hilton.
First stop for the “Dreamgirls” cast and Best Supporting Actress winner Jennifer Hudson was the Paramount bash, where Hudson spent the evening greeting fans and text messaging on her phone.
Hilary Swank hung out in a booth with her new beau and Warren Beatty and Annette Bening. Beatty jokingly put a palm leaf behind his ear and said that he wanted to be as fashionable as Swank with her diamond hair clip.
Meanwhile, Maggie Gyllenhaal was cooing over how handsome fiancé Peter Sarsgaard looked in his suit between calling her mother every few minutes to check on baby Ramona.
The Fox Searchlight party was statuette central, with Meryl Streep, Forest Whitaker, Sasha Baron Cohen, Emily Blunt, John Lasseter, and Hugh Laurie all stopping by with their booty.
While Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck swooped into the NBC/Universal-Cartier party and Ginnifer Goodwin and Chris Klein nipped into HBO, it was up to Sienna Miller to pick up the celeb slack at the Weinstein Company party.
The heavily attended In Style-Warner Bros. bash went on until 1 a.m., by which time Jack Nicholson and Leonardo DiCaprio were long gone.
