NEW YORK — Phillips-Van Heusen has promoted its licensing and promotions strategist, Kenneth L. Wyse, to president of licensing and public relations, reflecting his 15-year contribution to the company.
Wyse, who was a senior vice president, oversees the company’s worldwide licensing operations and publicity for brands including Van Heusen, G.H. Bass, Izod and Izod Club.
“Ken has been a vital ally and an experienced diplomat, bringing new licensing partners to our brands and negotiating complicated, but fair and balanced, contracts to our partners and our company,” said Mark Weber, president and chief operating officer of PVH. “He will continue to build our brands, increase our revenues and conduct Phillips-Van Heusen business activities here and around the world with the utmost integrity that he has always demonstrated.”
Wyse said, “I came here almost 16 years ago looking for a home, and what I found was a company that was conservative, but entrepreneurial.”
Prior to joining PVH, Wyse was corporate marketing director of Liz Claiborne Inc. and held positions as vice president of licensing for Bon Jour International and managing director of Jordache Enterprises. He began his career at Gulf & Western Industries, developing global marketing strategies.
