BRIT AWARDS: Chopard has designated “Star Wars” star John Boyega and fellow Brit Bel Powley as the winners of the Chopard Trophy, its annual award for emerging talents.

Boyega rose to fame for playing Finn in last year’s “Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens” and is filming “Star Wars: Episode VIII.” He previously appeared in “Half of a Yellow Sun,” adapted from the novel by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, in which he starred alongside Chiwetel Ejiofor and Thandie Newton.

Powley became known as one of the lead characters in the children’s TV show “M.I. High” and portrayed Britain’s Princess Margaret in “A Royal Night Out” alongside Emma Watson and Rupert Everett. She earned glowing reviews for her role in “The Diary of a Teenage Girl,” also starring Kristen Wiig and Alexander Skarsgård.
