Ana Khouri's pavé "Lourdes" clip-on earrings.

ON VIEW: Ana Khouri will make an unconventional presentation during New York Fashion Week. The jewelry designer — who’s work aims to enhance elements of physical anatomy — will exhibit her work for five days in jewelry cases situated just behind Dover Street Market New York’s windows.

Khouri’s Dichotomy collection, which as WWD reported includes updated riffs on clip-on earrings, will be showcased in two of Dover Street Market New York’s jewelry salon cases. Dichotomy was originally presented in Paris during the July couture jewelry week there.

Said Khouri of the collection: “A lot of people don’t study the ear and the body, and how you can fix things so that they don’t hurt. Everything [for me] is so anatomic. With earrings, there is pressure inside the ear and pressure outside. By creating a balance with different parts — the earring stays in place.”

The collection will be stocked at retailers including Barneys New York and Moda Operandi beginning in December.
