ANGELINA’S ACCOLADE: Queen Elizabeth has named Angelina Jolie an honorary dame for her humanitarian work in fighting sexual violence in war zones and for her services to UK foreign policy. On Friday at Buckingham Palace the Queen presented Jolie with the insignia of an Honorary Dame Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of St Michael and St George. As the Oscar-winning actress is not a British citizen, she cannot officially be called Dame, however. Friday’s accolade was previously published in Diplomatic Service and Overseas Birthday 2014 Honours list. Jolie, who wore a dove gray suit by the London-based couture house Ralph & Russo, is the co-founder of the Preventing Sexual Violence Initiative, PVSI.
