BANK ON 21: Anja Rubik might be 31 in real life, but this fall the model is Forever 21. As the poster girl for the retailer’s new Outerwear Edit, the Polish model has been shot by Daniel Jackson in oversized trenches, faux fur coats and soft sweaters in an array of designs including camels, pale pinks and prints. The chain’s fall collection including the added artillery of coats launches worldwide Sept. 19 in stores and online. The Outerwear Edit featuring Rubik will be part of a larger advertising initiative comprised of outdoor as well as several October magazines including People Style Watch, ELLE, OK! and US Weekly.

“Anja Rubik is the ideal face to represent our premium outerwear collection for fall,” said Linda Chang, general merchandise manager of Forever 21, Inc. “We know her longstanding status as a fashion icon will inspire our customers to layer all the best pieces from the Forever 21 Fall Collection into their wardrobes.”

The gig is timely for the Rubik, who landed on Forbes’ Highest-Paid Models List for the first time this year with $3.5 million.
