CHARITY CLUTCHES: Bally has partnered with Delete Blood Cancer U.K., a charity that recruits stem-cell donors to help blood-cancer patients.
As part of the collaboration, Bally has created 100 limited-edition leather envelopes and will host an event before London Fashion Week, in support of the charity.
Titled “Big Love” and taking place on Friday at Bally’s London flagship on New Bond Street, the event will be hosted by Frédéric de Narp, Bally’s chief executive officer, and Katharina and Peter Harf, founders of Delete Blood Cancer U.K.
The envelopes created as part of the collaboration are made in red calf leather and python. They are priced between 225 pounds, or $321, and 595 pounds, or $850, and all proceeds will go toward Delete Blood Cancer U.K. In addition, 20 percent of all proceeds from sales on the evening will be going to the charity.
On Friday, the store windows of the Mayfair flagship will feature displays by calligrapher Paul Antonio. Antonio will also be at the store to provide personalized letters for customers who will be purchasing the leather envelopes.
