BERLIN — World Models Market — billed as the first trade show for models, agencies, stylists, hair and make-up artists, photographers, scouts, and bookers — is set to debut in Berlin Nov. 3 to 6.
According to Anna Sokolova, director of the recently founded World Models Market, 40 agencies and up to 2,500 models are expected to participate at the event. The four-day fair will be held in the Station Berlin, home of the Premium fashion fairs here.
Sokolova said U.S. agencies Wilhelmina and Fusion Models, Nathalie and City Models fromParis and Seoul’s DCM Model Management will be on hand, and that 1,000 international models have already been screened and confirmed.
Conceived as a traveling event, plans call for the fair to be held in another city in its second season.
