U.S. CORNERSTONE: July 1 will mark the opening of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton-owned Berluti’s premier stateside Maison — the brand’s new flagship store concept that debuted in London in June and will roll out to Paris, New York, Shanghai and Tokyo later in the year. The 1,840-square-foot boutique at 161 N.E. 40th Street in Miami’s Design District will also be the first American sales point for the brand’s ready-to-wear, launched last year.

Designed to fit in with the tropical setting, the white, gallery-like space features parquet flooring and touches of color, such as freestanding furniture clad in purple leather. Photos by Slim Aarons deck the walls, while the store’s centerpiece is a pool table designed by Ora-ïto and beach huts inspired the fitting rooms.
